Galion’s Dick, Kay Stowe to celebrate 50th anniversary

GALION — Dick and Kay Stowe, of 224 N. Market St., in Galion, will celebrate their 50th wedding anniversary on Friday, July 12. They were married June 12, 1970 at St. Paul United Methodist Church in Galion by Pastor Gerald Bell.

The family is celebrating the anniversary Saturday, June 13, at 3 p.m. Friends and acquaintances are invited to honor Dick and Kay with drive-by congratulations at their North Market Street home.

The Stowe’s have four children: daughter Sherri (Norm) Clevenger of Galion; son Gregg Stowe, of Green Valley, Arizona; daughter Amy (Gary) Sprecherat, of Avon, Ohio; and daughter Colleen (Todd) Adams, of Hilliard, Florida.

Their grandchildren include: Eric Clevenger, Rachel Clevenger, Chris Gentry, Brad Sprecher, Sarah Sprecher and Cole Adams.

They have one great-grandchild: Cai Gentry.
