The Tiger volleyball team defeated the Roger Bacon Spartans in two games with scores of 15-11 and 17-15 to claim their second consecutive state championship title.
The week ending Nov. 7, 1975
There were four shots fired during a a holdup at Galion Pharmacy Heist, the slugs came within inches of striking pharmacist Conrad Vaughn. No one was hurt.
Five rail cars carrying nearly one million pounds of corn overturned on the Penn Central tracks at the East Atwood Street crossing. The incident tore up close to 650 feet of railroad bed.
