Prep football: Colonel Crawford, Northmor, Buckeye Central each post Week 5 wins

Colonel Crawford 43, Bucyrus 6

The Eagles rolled up 458 total yards — including 301 yards rushing — in the blowout win over their Crawford County rivals. Blake Treisch rushed for 183 yards and two touchdowns to lead Colonel Crawford (4-1, 3-1 N10). Will Kirpatrick added 93 yards and a touchdown. Michael Knisley also scored a touchdown for the Eagles.

Kirkpatrick completed 9-of-16 passes for 157 yards and two scores, but also threw a pair of interceptions. Owen Adams caught five passes for 116 yards and two touchdowns.

Bucyrus quarterback Gavin Lewis completed 12-of-33 passing attempts for 208 yards and threw an 85-yard scoring pass to Harley Robinson. Robinson finished with two receptions for 108 yards. Clinton Carr made four catches for 40 yards. Trenton Dunford recorded both interceptions for the Redmen.

Colonel Crawford will try to extend its winning streak to three consecutive games next Friday at Ridgedale.

Bucyrus (1-4, 0-3 N10) plays host to Upper Sandusky in Week 6.

Northmor 34, East Knox 14

Demetrius Johnson rushed for 287 yards and three touchdowns on 17 carries to pace the Knights to victory on Friday. He averaged 16.9 yards per carry and had scoring runs of 45, 63 and 46 yards.

Northmor’s Jake Farley rushed for 43 yards and a touchdown and Frank Keller added 33 yards rushing and a score. The Knights piled up 428 yards of offense.

East Knox running back Zach Hill countered Johnson’s big night by rushing for 216 yards and a touchdown. Seth Rager added 94 yards and a touchdown.

The Knights rushed for 403 yards while the Bulldogs amassed 327 yards on the ground.

Northmor (2-3, 1-1 MOAC) plays at Cardington-Lincoln next Friday.

East Knox (0-5, 0-2 MOAC) entertains Fredericktown next week.

Buckeye Central 55, Ridgedale 0

The Bucks rushed for 368 yards and six touchdowns in the homecoming victory over the Rockets on Friday. Cody Roberts carried the ball 15 times for 207 yards and two scores to lead Buckeye Central.

Nash Ehresman finished with 59 yards rushing and a touchdown. Owen Ackerman added 32 yards. Athen Moyer had 29 yards and a touchdown. Kyle Sanderson chipped in with 23 yards and Grant Loy added 18 yards and two rushing touchdowns.

Loy also passed for 124 yards and a score. He hit Brice Brenneman with a 50-yard scoring strike in the second quarter.

Buckeye Central limited Ridgedale to 162 total yards. Rockets quarterback Branden Jaggers was 10-of-16 for 58 yards and threw an interception that Buckeye Central’s Scott Heydinger returned for a touchdown. Hunter Boyd rushed for 93 yards to lead the Rockets.

The Bucks (4-1, 2-1 N10) travel to Carey in Week 6.

Ridgedale (0-5, 0-3 N10) plays host to Colonel Crawford next week.
