Two men are on their way to prison after pleading guilty to charges in Crawford County Common Pleas Court.
Robert A. Nead Jr., 41, Galion, pleaded guilty to one count of trafficking in drugs, a third-degree felony.
Judge Sean Leuthold sentenced Nead to two years in prison. He must also pay a $5,000 fine and his driver’s license was suspended for six months. Nead is also required to forfeit all drug-related property to the Crawford County Sheriff’s Office.
Shane M. Banks, 23, Bucyrus, was sentenced to one year in prison after he pleaded guilty to one count of receiving stolen property, a fifth-degree felony. Banks, who was placed on probation in 2013 for a breaking and entering conviction, has now been unsuccessfully terminated from probation.
Earlier in the week, two other men were sentenced to prison.
Two men up on community control violations in Crawford County Common Pleas Court both finished the day with prison sentences.
Kyle McClintock, 31, Galion, was found guilty of violating the terms of his community control and sentenced to two 10-month sentences in prison. The sentences are to be served consecutively for a total of 10 months.
Douglas Caudell Jr., 37, Shiloh, was also found guilty of violating his community control when he admitted to resisting arrest, changing his address without permission from his probation officer, failing to report for visits with his probation officer and failing to comply with substance abuse counseling. He was sentenced to 11 months in prison.
