Boys Tennis: Galion falls to Kenton

Galion boys tennis hosted Kenton last night at Heise Park and lost a tough 2-3 match.

Tanner Amos playing number one singles won 6-2, 6-2 for one of Galion’s points. Tanner improves to 2-0 on the young season. Tristan Baldy playing 3 singles won a tough match 7-5, 5-7 and 6-4 to improve to 2-0 on the season. Lucas Conner at two singles lost a hard fought three-set match, 6-8, 7-6, (tie break 7-4) and 6-4.

First doubles team of Nic Oehler/ Ty Harris lost 1-6 and 0-6. Second doubles team of Matt Sparks/Bryce Barnhart lost 1/6, 2/6. Galion travels to Marion Pleasant in conference play today.
