The quest for the 2015 Ohio High School Athletic Association girls basketball championship begins with the sectionals on Feb. 17 for schools in the local area.

Galion (5-13) is seeded 11th in the Div. III Shelby District. The Lady Tigers will play No. 8 seed Bucyrus (7-10) at Lexington High School 8 p.m. on Feb. 17.

Colonel Crawford (8-12) is seeded seventh and will play No. 6 seed Collins Western Reserve at Willard High School.

Wynford (6-12), seeded 10th, will play the champion of the Willard/Huron game at LHS 6:15 p.m. on Feb. 20.

In the Div. III Columbus 1 District, Northmor (10-8), seeded 14th, will travel to play the champion from the Elgin/Centerburg game, at the victor’s school 7 p.m. Feb. 20.

In the Div. IV Seneca East District, Buckeye Central (11-7) will play win-less Crestline at Columbian High School 6:15 p.m. on Feb. 17.

The districts will start on Feb. 22, followed by the regionals that start on Feb 29. The state tournament will start on March 10.
