Crestline has first home swim meet

The Crestline swimming team made waves at its first home swim meet at the Galion YMCA Saturday.

The Lady Bulldogs defeated Loudonville 31-20. The Crestline boys sported 14 points.

Taking first individually were Courtney Swanger (200-yard freestyle), Kinsey Kenison (100 free), Timmy Tompkins (50, 100 free) and Michaela Jeffrey (500 free).

The girls 200 medley relay team of Abbi Stair, Jeffrey, Kenison and Swanger sported a 2:42.23 for first, while Jeffrey, Soren Murphy, Swanger and Kenison won the 200 free relay.

Crestline will be back in action for a swim meet against Bucyrus and three other teams on Wednesday.
