The Northmor girls’ basketball team will look to improve on last season’s 8-15 record under new head coach Daryl Uhde.
The team does return two starters and many letter winners from last year’s squad. Senior Karlee Carroll and junior Lindsey Wiseman return as starters.
Also back are seniors Reanne McDonald and Cheyenne Shelton, juniors Lydia Farley and Karalee Patterson and sophomore Becca Duckworth. Junior Madison Swihart lettered for Mount Gilead last year and is now a member of the Knights.
Rounding out the varsity squad will be Cristianna Boggs, Brooke Bennett, Kaitlyn Stiver and Jessica Ruhl.
The Lady Knights lost its first game of the season with a 59-41 defeat to host Colonel Crawford.
