Buckeyes: Ohio State started slowly but finished strong in a 38-10 win over Penn State last Saturday. Ezekiel Elliott (153 yards rushing) ran for more than 100 yards for the twelfth game in a row and OSU had 429 yards total offense against a team allowing an average of 275 yards a game. J.T. Barrett outplayed starting quarterback Cardale Jones, putting the “Who should be the starting quarterback?” question into play again.
Scarlet Knights: Rutgers came from 25 points down late in the third quarter to beat Indiana 55-52 last Saturday on a field goal by Kyle Federico as time ran out. Quarterback Chris Laviano (1,388 yards, 12 touchdowns), running back Robert Martin (437 yards) and receiver Leonte Caroo lead the offense.
Rutgers coach Kyle Flood will return to the sideline after serving a three-game suspension for allegedly pressuring a professor to give a player a higher grade in his class.
