Cardington’s Stewart wins first HOJGA event

Cardington’s Nathan Stewart won the 12-and-under class in Heart of Ohio Junior Golf Association’s first tournament on the summer, held Wednesday at Green Acres.

He shot 37 over nine holes to win by five strokes over Mason Rinehart of Pleasant.

Britton Hensel of Kenton shot 67 to win the 16-18 division, while Pleasant’s Max McCloy won the 13-15 group in a one-hole playoff after a round of 66. Following are the complete results of the tournament.
