Scots top Pirates and Knights in golf

Highland swept Cardington and Northmor in a triangular golf meet held Tuesday at Pine Lakes.

The Scots finished with 176 strokes, while Cardington, who went 1-1 on the day, finished with 188. Northmor finished with a score of 210.

Highland was led by meet medalist Ryan Minyo, who shot 40. Both Caleb Dodds and Sam Lopiccolo shot 43, while Isaac Dempsey scored 50, Bryan Whited had a round of 54 and Cameron Snyder scored 56.

For the Pirates, Austin Yake led the way with a nine-hole tally of 42 strokes, Nadia Kerman shot 47, while Jacob Long scored 48. Also, Sage Brannon shot 51, Jacob Spires scored 54 and Austin Wilson had a round of 56.

Northmor’s Nathan Bird shot 43. Andrew Yarnell followed with a round of 50 and Hayes Bentley shot 51. Also, Kamryn Inglles scored 66, Levi Ebert shot 72 and Issabella Szulewski scored 77.
