Galion athletic passes now on sale

The Galion City School District Athletic Department is offering a variety of athletic passes for the 2015-2016 school year. District officials said these passes offer families and individuals a significant savings off regular ticket prices for both middle school and high school sporting events.

  • Family Pass $350 – This pass is for a family of four (2 adults / 2 children) and is good for admission to all home Middle and High School athletic events throughout the school year. Additional family members can be added to the pass for $50 per student or $125 per adult.
  • 20-events Pass $100 for adults, $60 for students – This pass is good for admission to 20 home Middle or High School athletic events of the pass holder’s choosing.
  • General Admission Pass $50 for adults, $30 for students – This pass is good for admission to 10 home Middle or High School athletic events of the pass holder’s choosing.

Please note that purchased passes will not be accepted at OHSAA tournaments or League Tournaments that are hosted by Galion High School. The OHSAA and the Mid-Ohio Athletic Conference sets the prices for these tournaments and Galion City Schools is unable to include these events in the passes.

Regular admission prices at the gate for the 2015-2016 school year are as follows:

  • Galion High School $6 for adults and $4 for students for all varsity contests in the following sports: football, volleyball, wrestling, boy’s basketball, girl’s basketball, and swimming.
  • Reserved seating is available for football games at a cost of $7 per seat.

  • Ticket prices are $4 for adults and $3 for students for all junior varsity, freshman, and middle school contests in the following sports: football, volleyball, wrestling, boys basketball, girls basketball, and swimming.

These passes and reserved seats for football games will be available for purchase starting Aug. 20 at the Galion High School office from 8 a.m. to 3 p.m. For information call the Galion High School Athletic Department at (419) 468-6500, ext. 12008.
