CRESTLINE — The Crestline Lady Bulldogs had two home games last week. Crestline took to the court searching for their first win of the season and to hopefully snap a two-plus season losing streak. Unfortunately, the Bulldogs finished last week’s games with an 0-3 overall record and an 0-1 Mid-Buckeye Conference record.

Danville was first up for the Bulldogs on Tuesday Nov.29 at home. The Blue Devils, a MBC rival came in to Crestline and left after a 69-12 victory. Crestline scored just a single point in not just the first quarter but through the first half, trailing 34-1 at the intermission. Dennesa Baker was the high scorer for the Bulldogs, contributing eight of the 12 points.

After the devastating loss, Crestline played host to the Vanlue Wildcats on Saturday Dec.3. After not scoring in the first quarter, the Bulldogs were able to turn things around of sorts but still found themselves on the heartbreaking side of close game, losing to Vanlue 32-30. The Tadda’s were the leading scorers for Crestline against the Wildcats. Lydia scored 15 points and Lauryn chipped in six.

The Lady Bulldogs are looking to bounce back this week. On Tuesday, they will head to Kidron to play Central Christian and on Friday Dec.9 they will host the Bucyrus Lady Redmen.
