GALION — After an 0-2 start to the 2016-2017 season, the Northmor Golden Knights girls basketball team earned their first victory Saturday afternoon, defeating the Centerburg Trojans, 51-46.

Karalee Patterson poured in 26 points for the game and Maddie Swihart added 13 for the Knights.

With the win, Northmor improves to 1-2 overall and 1-1 in the Mid-Ohio Athletic Conference Blue Division. Centerburg is now also 1-2 and 1-1 in the MOAC.

Another busy week lies ahead for the Golden Knights as they travel to Danville on Tuesday Dec.6 and then to Howard to meet up with MOAC Blue rivals, the East Knox Bulldogs on Friday Dec.9.
