Crestline Bulldogs lose to conference rival Blue Devils

DANVILLE — The Crestline Bulldogs are now 0-2 this season and 0-1 in the Mid-Buckeye Conference after being defeated by the Danville Blue Devils by a score of 68-48.

Danville got out to an early lead against Crestline and never took the time to look back en route to their victory. After the end of the first period, the Blue Devils were on top by seven; 15-8. Danville kept the lead throughout and went in to halftime up 33-22. The second half was much the same as the Blue Devils outscored Crestline; 35-26.

Tyler Sipes was the top scorer for the Bulldogs with 15 points. Sipes also contributed four steals on defense. Kaden Ronk put up similar numbers, scoring 14 points and recording four steals. Ty Clark also had 14 points while grabbing nine rebounds and two steals.

The Blue Devils outrebounded the Bulldogs to the tune of 41-22 on the night.

Crestline will be home on Saturday Dec.10, where they will host Kidron Central Christian.
