NORTH ROBINSON — The Lady Eagles of Colonel Crawford played host to the New Riegel Blue Jackets on Tuesday night. Colonel Crawford controlled the game from the opening tip and improved to 2-0 for the early season with a 45-31 victory.

Leading away for the Eagles was Ashley Gwirtz. Gwirtz had 19 points on the night, to go along with seven rebounds and four steals. She was 7/15 from the field and a 5/6 from the free throw line.

Also fueling the victory for Crawford was Alexus Burkhart. Burkhart was relatively quiet in the first half but finished the game with 12 points for the Eagles. Taylor Webster chipped in nine points, Danielle Horsley scored three and Lydia Strouse added a two-point bucket late in the game.
