Galion volleyball team loses to Findlay

FINDLAY — The Galion Tigers volleyball traveled northwest Tuesday to meet up with the Findlay Trojans in non-league competition. Galion lost 25-18, 25-20, 26-24 to fall to 4-4 overall.

Morgan Gregory and Ashley Flowers were the top servers for the Tigers, going a combined 21/23 serving with Gregory recording the only ace for the Tigers. Gregory was 90/94 ball handling with 33 out of the 34 total assists for Galion.

Marissa Gwinner was 26/32 hitting with 16 kills and Gabby Abouhassan went 19/21 on the attack with seven kills. Galion totaled 39 kills for the match.

Callie Wildenthaler (12) and Chloe McCleese (11) had the most dogs. Gwinner had all five of the blocks for the team.
