BUCYRUS — Girls golf at Galion High School may only be in year number three, but that doesn’t mean that records are any less important. On Tuesday, the Tigers set a school record for lowest team score for a nine hole round of golf. Not only did the team shoot their best golf ever, they also walked away with another win against the Bucyrus Lady Redmen by a final tally of 217-252.

Greer Gledhill was the medalist for the Tigers on the evening, finishing with a personal best round of 50. Galion also had Abby Barre adding a 52, Shae Ness with a 54 and Alexis Chaplin finished off the scoring for Galion with a 61. Macy Eicher also finished with her personal best round of golf on Tuesday. Eicher headed to the clubhouse after finishing with a 68. Brooklyn Potter was also on the course and ended with a 70.

The next action for Galion will be on Saturday September 10, when they travel to the Marysville Golf Club to participate in the Lady Panther Invite hosted by Fairbanks High School.
