PLAIN CITY — The Galion Tigers boys soccer team faced off against the Jonathon Alder Pioneers in Plain City on Saturday. The match was a bit one-sided as the Pioneers won 6-0.

Jonathon Alder had control of the ball for the vast majority of the match and left Galion stuck in the back foot of the field playing defense. Freshman Stephen Thompson was able to put together 13 saves for the Tigers at goalkeeper, for his best game of the young season.

The Tigers had just one shot on goal for the match, coming off of the foot of freshman Skyler Bishop.

The young team also play Marion Pleasant and River Valley this week.
