Northmor volleyball team beats Clear Fork, Lucas

GALION — Northmor beat Clear Fork in three games Saturday, 23-25, 25-20, and 30-28.

In that match, Anna Donner was 38 of 40 hitting with 17 kills; Jordyn Zoll was 15 of 15 hitting with 7 kills. Anna Donner was 9 of 9 serving with 3 aces; Rayanna Loyer was 8 of 9 serving with 3 aces. Lindsey Wiseman had 10 digs Cristianna Boggs had 6 digs and Jordyn Zoll had 22 assists.

Northmor’s jayvees won 25-5, 25-22.

Northmor also took on and beat Lucas in the three-way match. That score was 25-15 and 25-18.

In that batch, Hope Miracle had 2 solo blocks, Jordyn Zoll added 15 assists and Anna Donner was 13 of 13 serving with 6 aces. Also, Anna Donner had 10 digs, Cristianna Boggs had 6 digs, Anna Donner was 16 of 16 hitting with 6 kills and Kelsie Fike was 11 of 11 hitting with 4 kills.

Northmor’s junior varsity won 25-14 and 25-13.

Colonel Crawford golfers fall to Cardington

CRESTLINE — Cardington’s Austin Yake carded a 1-over-par 37 to lead the Pirates to a 181-202 win over Colonel Crawford last week at Valley View Golf Course.

Nick Gremling was low for Colonel Crawford, with a 45; Eli Shultz shot 48; Andrew Daubenspck had a 52 and Al Johnson a 57. The drop scores were Marcus Fagan’s 58 and a 65 by Andy Brause.
