A number of IndyCar drivers took to the track at Mid-Ohio Thursday as part of a scheduled test day.
The event, which was open to the public, featured drivers doing laps around the Morrow County sports car course in preparation for the Honda Indy 200, which occurs on Sunday, July 31 to conclude three days of racing.
Included among the drivers testing were Graham Rahal, an Ohio native who won the Honda Indy 200 last year; Simon Pagenaud, currently leading the IndyCar season standings; and Scott Dixon, who has won at Mid-Ohio in five of the nine years he has competed there as part of the IndyCar series.
