Alice J. Blasberg

Alice J. Blasberg, 62, of Galion, died Sunday, July 25, 2010 at MedCentral/Mansfield Hospital after a four year courageous battle with cancer.

Born July 14, 1948 in Galion, she was the daughter of the late Alvin L. Klein and Lois June (Beavers) Klein who survives her in Mansfield. On May 4, 1968 she married Daniel C. Blasberg, Sr. whom survives.

Alice was a member of the Pleasant Grove Church of Christ and graduated from Northmor High School in 1966. She and her husband owned and operated Porky’s Drive-In Restaurant in Mansfield.

In addition to her husband and mother, Alice is survived by one son and daughter-in-law, Daniel, Jr. (Sue) Blasberg of College Park, Md.; one daughter, Donita Blasberg of Galion; one grandson, Jesse Daniel Ratliff and one sister and brother-in-law, Kathy (Tom) Gerry of Pioneertown, Calif.

She was preceded in death by her father and one infant broth-er.

Friends may call from 2 to 4 and 6 to 8 p.m. Wednesday, July 28, 2010 at Richardson-Davis Funeral Home where services will be held at 10:30 a.m. Thursday, July 29 with Jeff Brunsman, Minister officiating. Interment will be in Oak Grove Memorial Park at a later date. Memorial contributions may be made to the American Cancer Society, P.O. Box 8008, Dublin, Ohio 43016-2008.
