Carolyn R. Price, 66, of Galion, died unexpectedly Monday, July 19, 2010 at home.

Born March 10, 1944 in Galion, she was the daughter of the late Starling and Betty (McElhatten) Cole. She married John A. “Jack” Price on June 20, 1965 who survives.

Carolyn worked as an operator and in billing for General Telephone Company and later Verizon in Marion, where she retired in 1996 after 32 years. She had been attending First Lutheran Church in Galion and graduated from Colonel Crawford High School in 1962.

In addition to her husband, she is survived by three step-brothers, Mel (Marguerite) Armstrong of Bucyrus, Charlie (Esther) Armstrong of Galion and Larry Armstrong of Leesville.

Graveside services will be held at 3 p.m. Friday, July 23, 2010 at Biddle Cemetery on Remlinger Road in Crestline, with Rev. Matt Wheeler officiating.

Funeral arrangements are in the care of Richardson-Davis Funeral Home in Galion.
