Dalton L. Brown, Sr., 51, of Galion, died unexpectedly, after a sudden illness Friday, July 16, 2010 at Drake Center Hospice in Cincinnati.

Born Aug, 24, 1958 in Bucyrus, he is survived by his parents, David Brown of Dayton, Tenn. and Bessie Allene (Wade) Brown of Cookville, Tenn. He was preceded in death on April 27, 2010 by his wife, Linda Sue (Mease) Brown, whom he married on June 3, 1977.

He retired from the Quality Inn in Bellville where he was director of maintenance for 10 years.

In addition to his parents he is also survived by one daughter, Nicole Brown of Lexington; one son and his companion, Dalton Lee Brown, Jr. and Sarah Eber of Bucyrus; and three grandchildren, Christopher Maertens, Kaylor L. Brown and Kayden R. Brown; his twin sister and brother-in-law, Deborah and John Kreta of Milford, a brother, Greg Brown of Cookville, Tenn. and a sister, Betsy Arsenault of Cookville, Tenn.

Friends may call from 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 p.m. Monday, July 19, 2010 at Richardson-Davis Funeral Home where services will be held at 10:30 a.m. Tuesday, July 20, 2010 with Pastor Cheryl Allen officiating.
