It took 3 adults to help Natalie Cotton and Kylee Lacrois count out the money in their penny banks — just enough to purchase two lovely flower baskets for their mothers from the North End Garden Club’s annual May Market. Again this year the sale was held in the cabin and pavilion in East Park. Seen here with the girls is NEGC member Jenny Fried; fellow members Phyllis Ricker and Sheila Spayde also helped sort and count the pennies. Was it enough money? Of course it was — to the penny!
