Galion grad named dean of student services at NCSC

MANSFIELD — Thomas Mansperger has accepted the position of Dean of Student Services and Enrollment Management at North Central State College. Mansperger, a Galion High School graduate, had filled this role on an interim basis throughout the search process.

Most recently, he was the Director of Recruitment, Admissions and Gateway Services at NC State.

Prior to joining the college, he held the position of Dean of Enrollment Management at the University of Rio Grande and Rio Grande Community College in Rio Grande, Ohio, where he was employed since 2011. Prior to that, he served the admissions departments at Ashland University and Ohio Northern University.

Mansperger has more than 30 years experience in higher education. He will provide leadership for the recruitment efforts, admission department and support turnkey services to students as they complete the enrollment process. He also will serve as a member of the Council of Deans, as well as chairing and serving on numerous institutional committees.

He has an MBA degree from Ashland University and completed his undergraduate studies at Ohio Northern with a concentration in Public Relations.
