COLUMBUS – The BIA Parade of Homes today announced that 3 Pillar Homes is building the 2014 BIA Foundation Home. Although 3 Pillar Homes has built homes in four previous Parades, this is the first time the company has constructed the BIA Foundation Home.
Known as “The home with a heart,” The BIA Foundation Home is a highlight of every Parade of Homes. The BIA Foundation Home not only gives Parade-goers brilliant inspiration for their own homes, but it also gives back to the community.
Proceeds from its sale benefit Habitat for Humanity, as well as other charities, through the BIA Foundation. Suppliers, tradesmen and other industry pros help lower the cost of building the home by donating or discounting services, tools and materials. This ensures that more money from the sale of this five-bedroom, four-and-a-half-bath home goes directly to local charities, while the buyer benefits from the exquisite craftsmanship and lots of custom touches.
“The Foundation Home is the perfect way for us to partner with the BIA Foundation,” said 3 Pillar Homes President Zenios Michael Zenios.
Based in Galena, 3 Pillar Homes has been crafting custom homes for more than 15 years.
The moment Parade attendees approach the 5,832-square-foot BIA Foundation Home, the local craftsmanship will be evident. The Ohio farmhouse-inspired home was built using local artisans and is filled with furnishings handmade by local Amish woodworkers. The home is totally focused on functional family living, with art that comes to life and spaces that are carefully designed and customized for the active way in which today’s families live.
“We’re excited to have this opportunity to showcase the great work 3 Pillar Homes does building the perfect home for every family with whom we work,” said Zenios. “That all comes full circle as we give back to the community through the BIA Foundation, which benefits local families.”
