Regency Properties, a commercial real estate company specializing in county seat communities, recently acquired East Pointe Plaza in Bucyrus. The shopping center is Regency’s first property in Ohio and will add an additional 70,882 square feet to Regency’s portfolio, which now includes properties in 13 states.
East Pointe Plaza has a 96 percent occupancy rate and is located next to Walmart on Stetzer Street. Major tenants in the center include Peebles, Dollar Tree and Hibbett Sports. The acquisition also includes two outlots with road frontage that are available for future development.
“We are excited to expand our footprint to Ohio,” said Jeff Howell, vice president of acquisitions and business management. “Bucyrus is a strong, well-positioned market and Regency is excited to become a partner in this thriving county seat community.”
