The Community Foundation for Crawford County wants to remind local students that its college scholarship applications for the 2016-2017 school year are available at their website: www.cfcrawford.org.

There are 15 different scholarships available for application at the Foundation’s website, as well as two offered by the Bucyrus Rotary Club. Each scholarship includes its own unique set of requirements, so students should be prepared to read these and determine their eligibility before applying. In addition, two of the scholarships are specifically for non-traditional students, meaning students who have been out of high school for one year or more or students entering their 3rd or 4th year of college. Students planning to attend an accredited trade school are also eligible to apply for some of the available scholarships. Application deadline is April 1.

The Community Foundation for Crawford County is a permanent, tax-exempt, public charitable foundation established to improve the quality of life for the citizens of Bucyrus and the surrounding Crawford County area. Started with the help of The Timken Foundation in 1984, it is a vehicle by which individuals, groups, and corporations may channel contributions to the community. The CF4CC works diligently to fulfill our mission of improving life in the Crawford County community by awarding grants, helping donors, providing leadership, managing our investments, and sponsoring special projects.
