Bucyrus police reports – Feb. 4

7:53am A report of a dog on a roof in the 300 block of South Spring Street was investigated. A homeowner was located and was able to secure the window that the dog escaped from.

8:21am A false alarm was received from the 1100 block of Woodlawn Avenue.

9:38am Officers were called to assist Life Support in entering a Bucyrus Plaza residence. The Manager was able to get Life Support personnel into the apartment.

9:53am An East Oakwood St. resident reported their vehicle hit sometime overnight.

10:19am Officers assisted Adult Protective Services in the area of Woodbine Apts.

11:03am Officers assisted with a vehicle lock out in the 1200 block of North Sandusky Avenue.

11:24am A Beverly Drive resident reported two vehicle tires damaged overnight.

12:16pm A crash report was taken in the 1200 block of East Mansfield Street. Both cars were disabled and towed from the scene. No injuries and one driver was cited for failure to yield exiting a parking lot.

12:23pm Officer assisted with a lock out in the Kroger parking lot.

1:43pm A S. Walnut St. resident was served summons to appear in court.

3:07pm Officers assisted a motorist locked out of her vehicle in the 1100 block of Jefferson Street.

4:10pm Two income tax summons were served at the Police Department.

4:31pm A syringe found in the area of Woodlawn and Walnut Street was picked up and disposed of by an officer.

5:20pm Officers checked the area of Sunset and Marion Road for a suspicious vehicle seen circling the area.

5:45pm Officers assisted the Crawford County Dog Warden in the 500 block of East Mansfield Street.

5:48pm A traffic warning was issued in the area of Mansfield and Fisher Streets.

6:11pm A traffic warning was issued in the area of High and Irving Streets.

6:21pm A traffic warning was issued in the area of Mary Street and Sandusky Avenue.

7:38pm Officers assisted Bucyrus Fire Department in the 100 block of Hill Street with a line down over the street. It was a utility pole support cable.

8:17pm A resident in the 500 block of South Poplar Street reported a tablet stolen from her and pawned. Officers are investigating.

10:20pm Officers assisted with an unruly juvenile in the 800 block of East Rensselaer Street. The complaint had been embellished and there were no assaults or threats.

10:39pm A report of an erratic driver on Washington Square was unfounded.

11:04pm A report of a suspicious vehicle in the South Walnut Street. area was a man in a disabled vehicle having a medical problem. EMS provided assistance.

Feb. 4

1:13am A report of an intoxicated male at Walmart was investigated. Officers stood by until a family member arrived to take him home.
