7:35am A false alarm in the 800 block of South Walnut Street was investigated.

8:18am A traffic warning was issued in the area of Hopley Avenue and John Street.

8:47am Officers made contact with a motorist who had driven away from UDF not realizing his credit card did not go through. He went back and settled the balance.

9:08am Officers checked an alarm and open door at a business in the 1600 block of Marion Road. Everything appeared to be fine.

10:34am Officers assisted a motorist locked out of his vehicle in the 200 block of Ethel Street.

12:17pm A report of an intoxicated male in the 700 block of South Sandusky Avenue was investigated. No one was located when officers checked the area.

12:23pm A complaint of construction workers getting debris in the roadway in the area of Little Caesars was investigated. The roadway was clear when officers checked, but the workers were advised of the complaint.

1:49pm One income tax summons was served at the police department.

3:19pm A report of two juveniles fighting on Plymouth Street was investigated. Everyone had left the area before officers arrived.

3:56pm Officers located a syringe at Outhwaite Reservoir and disposed of it.

4:19pm A report of an erratic driver headed into town on Ohio 4 was investigated. There was no traffic violation observed by officers while in the city limits.

4:32pm A traffic warning was issued in the 1000 block of Marion Road.

4:56pm A report of two suspicious customers leaving UDF was investigated. They were not located in the area.

4:57pm An alarm and open door in the 1100 block of Sherwood Drive was investigated.

6:42pm A disturbance in the 600 block of North Sandusky Avenue was investigated.

7:03pm A Bucyrus resident reported being assaulted while in the area of Washington Square this evening.

7:29pm A report of possible child neglect was forwarded to Crawford County Children Services.

7:51pm Officers checked the area around Cellular Central for a reported suspicious vehicle.

9:05pm Officers responded to a domestic violence complaint in the 600 block of North Lane Street. Cliff Stanley, 30, was arrested on charges of domestic violence. He was transported to the Crawford County Justice Center to be held for court.

9:58pm Officers mediated a verbal domestic dispute in the 200 block of W. Mansfield St. Arlene Grasley, 59, and John Grasley, 61, were both arrested on Crawford County warrants. They were each given a date to appear in court and released.

10:34pm A traffic warning was issued in the area of Spring and Rensselaer Streets.

11:33pm Officers assisted Life Support in the 200 block of West Mansfield Street.

Feb. 3

12:20am A resident in the 500 block of South Highland Avenue reported an attempted break-in to her trailer.

4:22am A parking citation was issued in the 1000 block of Hull Avenue.

4:28am A parking citation was issued in the 400 block of West Mansfield Street.

6:40am A parking citation was issued in the 100 block of West Oakwood Avenue.
