Crestline appoints new firefighter

Cory Church was appointed as a full-time probationary fireman by Crestline Village Council during Monday night’s meeting.

In addition, Council:

PASSED a resolution allowing the Village Council to enter into a contract with Roman’s XII Consulting Services for financial advice.

ENTERED a three-year engagement agreement with Julian & Grube, Inc. to assist the village with their financial audit. According to officials, the audit is expected to prepare Village Council to analyze their financial forecast for the village to better plan out their income and expenses for the future.

INCREASED Capacity Charges for water services both inside and outside the village and calculation of tap fees. This was the third reading and is now in effect.

A Legislation Meeting will be held 6:30 p.m. Jan. 14 at Crestline Village Hall.
