It is that time of year again when city workers will be picking up Christmas trees for local residents.

According to Safety Service Director John Swain, residents need to place their live Christmas trees at the curb for pick-up anytime between now and the week of Jan. 25.

“The week of Jan. 25 will be the last week of pick-up for the trees,” Swain said. “If you have a Christmas tree, put it out to the curb, not in the street, and we will be by to pick it up as soon as possible.”
