12:03pm A report of a vehicle vandalized in the 1800 block of E. Mansfield St. was investigated.

12:38pm David Alspach, 20, Bucyrus, was located in the 100 block of Iron St. hiding in a garage and arrested on a warrant for indictment for a drug offense.

12:58pm Officers assisted Life Support Team, Warren and Walnut St. with a man having medical problems.

2:06pm Officers are investigating a report of a theft in the 500 block of S. Sandusky Ave.

2:28pm A false alarm was received in the 1100 block of Laura Ave.

2:31pm Officer and K-9 assisted OSP on SR 30 west of town.

2:56pm Officers investigated a disturbance in the 800 block of Cleland Av.

3:04pm A two vehicle accident was investigated at Lane and Rensselaer St.

6:28pm A false alarm was investigated in the 200 block of E. Rensselaer St.

8:45pm Officers investigated a disturbance in the 200 block of W. Mary St.

9:16pm A Bucyrus resident came to the Police Department to report phone harassment.

9:53pm A parking complaint in the 1000 block of Lavina Avenue was investigated.

9:55pm A false alarm at Arctic Cat was investigated.

10:51pm A resident in the 500 block of Failor Street reported receiving harassing text messages from someone he knows.

11:19pm A traffic citation was issued in the area of Reid and Highland Avenue.

11:20pm A patient at the Bucyrus Community Hospital wanted to report being assaulted by someone he knows.

11:25pm Danny Lester, 42, was arrested on charges of Telecommunications Harassment. He was issued a summons to appear in court and released.

11:30pm A domestic disturbance in the 1700 block of Marion Road was investigated.

12:13am A traffic citation was issued in the area of Southern and Marion Road.

12:25am A traffic warning was issued in the area of Walnut and Mansfield Street.

12:34am A traffic warning was issued in the area of Crawford and Mansfield Street.

12:35am Two income tax summons were issued in the 400 block of E. Rensselaer Street.

1:24am A traffic warning was issued at Washington Square.

1:39am A resident in the 300 block of Kramer Avenue reported her residence entered and items stolen while she was away for the evening.

1:54am Officers checked on a Trooper on a traffic stop in the area of State Route 4.

2:12am A traffic warning was issued in the area of Poplar and Charles Street.

6:29am Officers investigated a report of a domestic dispute in the 1100 block of Whetstone St. Victor Reneker, 24, Bucyrus was arrested for domestic violence.

11:54am Officers investigated a report of a disturbance in the 1500 block of E. Mansfield St.

12:26pm A report of telephone harassment in the 100 block of Iron St. was investigated.

1:37pm Officers investigated a report of a reckless driver in the 1700 block of Marion Rd.

1:47pm A report of a theft of a cell phone in the 100 block of Wayne Ave. was received and Jeremy Smith, 22, Bucyrus was arrested on a warrant out of Crawford County and was given an appearance date.

2:28pm Officers investigated a report of a possible assault in the 500 block of W. Charles St.

4:20pm Officers checked on a suspicious vehicle at the High School.

5:21pm A disturbance was investigated in the 200 block of E. Mary St.

6:58pm A false alarm was investigated at the Bucyrus Elementary School.

7:15pm A traffic warning was issued on N. Sandusky Av.

7:18pm A N. Poplar St. resident reported their cell phone stolen.

7:44pm A warning was issued in the area of Hopley and Whetstone St.

7:49pm A traffic warning was issued on Hopley Av.

7:53pm Timothy R. Smith, 50, was arrested in the 200 block of E. Mary St. on charges of disorderly conduct. He was issued with a minor misdemeanor citation and taken to the Crawford County Justice Center to be held until sober.

8:06pm A S. Poplar St. resident reported receiving unwanted text messages.

8:14pm Officers responded to a domestic complaint and Dustin A. Hunt, 28, was arrested in the 1500 block of E. Mansfield St. on charges of domestic violence and falsification. He was transported to Crawford County Justice Center to be held for court.

8:43pm A disturbance in the 200 block of W. Mary Street was investigated.

10:39pm A domestic disturbance in the 1000 block of Wingert Street was investigated.

11:43pm An employee of Heartland reported her purse stolen while at work this evening.

Jan. 2

12:16am A traffic warning was issued in the area of Jones and Woodlawn Avenue.

12:30am Officers assisted EMS personnel in the 200 block of Schaber Avenue with an uncooperative patient.

2:50am Wilbur Gray, 47, was arrested in the 600 block of N. Sandusky Ave. on a Crawford County warrant and charges of Marijuana Paraphernalia. He was also issued 2 income tax summons. He was transported to the Crawford County Justice Center to be held for court.

3:16am Officers responded to a noise complaint and Joseph Diebert, 32, was arrested at Bucyrus Plaza on a Crawford County warrant. He was transported to the Crawford County Justice Center to be held for court or bond.

5:34am Officers assisted EMS personnel in the 500 block of S. Walnut Street.

5:52am Officers checked an open building on E. Rensselaer Street. The building was secured.

6:47am A parking citation was issued in the 1000 block of Robinhood Dr.

12:13pm Officers assisted Life Support in the 300 block of W Mansfield St.

12:26pm Officers spoke with a subject on station regarding bad checks.

1:13pm An E. Charles St. resident reported a package stolen from her front porch this afternoon.

1:51pm A two vehicle accident was investigated at McDonalds.

2:53pm An E. Southern Av. resident reported a grape vine tree stolen. The tree was later located and had not been stolen.

3:48pm A report was made of the mail boxes at the post office being full. Officers checked and they were fine.

4:02pm A S. Poplar St. resident reported a window broken out of the house. While officers were on scene, three income tax summons was served.

4:07pm Officers assisted the Crawford County Dog Wardens office with a loose dog on Plymouth St.

4:11pm One income tax summons was served.

4:28pm Officers picked up drug paraphernalia found in the 400 block of S. Lane St.

4:32pm Officers attempted to serve income tax summons.

4:50pm Officers investigated a domestic call in the 700 block of Gay St.

4:51pm Officers attempted to serve income tax summons on High St.

5:00pm Officers attempted to serve income tax summons on S. Spring St.

5:05pm Officers attempted to serve income tax summons on Faustina Av.

6:38pm A purse found at Kroger was turned over to officers.

6:38pm Multiple calls were received about a loud noise heard on the south side of town. Officers checked the area and could not find any problems.

7:25pm Officers investigated a domestic dispute in the 1300 block of Willard St.

7:51pm A traffic warning was issued in the 100 block of N. Lane St.

8:20pm Officers assisted Life Support Ambulance personnel in the 300 block of W. Mansfield St.

8:28pm A traffic warning was issued in the 200 block of E Mansfield St.

8:31pm A traffic warning was issued at Mansfield and Whetstone St.

8:50pm A disturbance was investigated in the 800 block of Wilbur St.

8:52pm A report of a fight was investigated in the 300 block of W. Mansfield St.

9:09pm A traffic warning was issued in the 100 block of E. Charles St.

10:21pm Officers on patrol investigated a suspicious vehicle parked at the Friendship Bridge.

10:28m A report of a suspicious person in the 1200 block of Teddy Ave. was investigated.

10:29pm A resident in the 200 block of Nauman St. reported hearing a loud noise near their home.

11:11pm Officers assisted an employee at Bucyrus Community Hospital who was locked out of their vehicle.

11:53pm A traffic warning was given in the 300 block of S. Poplar St.

Jan. 3

12:28am A male reported his wallet lost or stolen while at Speedway.

1:24am A report of a suspicious vehicle in the 900 block of S. East St. was investigated.

2:50am A parking citation was issued in the 600 block of Hopley Ave.

3:01am A parking warning was issued in the 400 block of Woodlawn Ave.

3:44am A report of a small group of suspicious males at Walmart was checked.

8:00am A parking citation was issued in the 400 block of E. Mansfield St.

9:51am Officers picked up several syringes on Whetstone St. near the RR tracks and disposed them.

10:40am A warning was issued to a motorist for manner of driving in the 1300 block of E. Mansfield St.

12:33pm A false alarm in the 1200 block of W. Southern Ave was received.

1:01pm Officers assisted with a vehicle lock out in the Walmart parking lot.

1:23pm Brent M Gibson, 22, was arrested for shoplifting at CVS. He was released pending a court appearance.

2:31pm Officers investigated a disturbance in the area of Woodlawn and Lane St.

2:56pm Barbara Boothe, 38, was arrested in the area of Charles and Kaler Av. She was charged with driving under suspension and drug paraphernalia. She also had a warrant out of Crawford County and one income tax summons. She was issued a court date to appear and released.

3:37pm Officers assisted with a civil stand by in the 200 block of W. Mansfield St.

4:09pm The game warden was contacted to assist regarding dead coyotes at the reservoir off of Stetzer Rd.

4:29pm A traffic warning was issued in the area of Beal and Whetstone.

4:36pm A minor two vehicle non-injury collision was investigated on E. Beal Av. One vehicle backed into another.

4:57pm One income tax summons was issued on E. Beal Av.

5:03pm A report of a person trespassing in a vehicle in the 200 block of E. Mary St. was received.

5:46pm Officers stopped a vehicle in the 200 block of Bland Av. A traffic citation was issued along with two income tax summons.

6:55pm Officers assisted Life Support Ambulance personnel in the 300 block of W. Mansfield St.

7:38pm Officers assisted a motorist locked out of their vehicle in the area of Clark and Warren St.

9:20pm Officers investigated the report of juveniles taking driveway markers and lighting off fireworks in the area of Rogers and Oakwood Av.

9:53pm Officers spoke to a Cincinnati resident who reported being assaulted by his father’s wife while at Walmart. While on scene officers also served one income tax summons.

10:30pm A traffic citation was issued for no operator license in the area of Rogers St. and E. Oakwood Ave.

10:34pm A report of 2 female juveniles riding a skateboard in the street in the 300 block of S. Sandusky Ave. was investigated. They were given a verbal warning and sent on their way.

10:55pm Officers spoke to subject on station that had some questions about a parking issue.

Jan. 4

12:11am A traffic warning was given in the 1800 block of Marion Rd.

1:38am A report of a suspicious vehicle in the Crossroads Blvd. area was found to be a driver that was lost.

1:51am Officers spoke to a female on station about harassing phone calls she has been receiving.

4:29am A report of a suspicious pedestrian walking in the area of Cullen Ave. was investigated.
