A 62-year-old man was hospitalized after a one-car crash at 9:33 a.m. Wednesday morning on North Sandusky Avenue North of U.S. 30.

According to a preliminary investigation, Larry W. Stander, 62, was traveling southbound in a 1997 Ford Excursion when the vehicle went off the west side of the roadway.

Stander’s hometown and address wasn’t immediately available

Officials said the vehicle then went over the entrance ramp to U.S. 30 and through the grass until it came to rest after striking the northern grass embankment to U.S. 30.

Stander was transported to Bucyrus Community Hospital.

Life Support, Ohio State Highway Patrol and the Bucyrus Fire Department assisted.
