10:40am Officers investigated a disturbance caused by text messages in the 200 block of W. Mansfield St.

10:48am A Beal Av. resident reported a Star Lazer Light stolen from their yard.

1:07pm Officers assisted with a disorderly person in the 100 block of W. Mansfield St.

1:23pm A minor two vehicle collision was investigated in the 200 block of Woodlawn Av.

1:43pm Officers assisted a motorist locked out of their vehicle on Pinewood Ct.

2:33pm Officers assisted with a disorderly person in the 600 block of Hopley Av.

2:41pm A traffic citation was issued in the area of Hopley and Whetstone St. to James E. Thompson for driving under suspension.

3:23pm Officers checked the welfare of a person in the 200 block of Woodlawn Av.

3:44pm A parking complaint was made in the 500 block of Hopley Av. The involved vehicle had left the area.

3:59pm Officers disposed of a syringe found in the 100 block of N. Spring St.

5:25pm Officers investigated a domestic disturbance in the 100 block of Iron St.

8:49pm Officers assisted the Ohio State Patrol in the area of County Rd. 330.

9:11pm Officers assisted with a civil property exchange in the 200 block of Woodlawn Avenue.

9:34pm A resident from the 300 block of Woodlawn Avenue reported his Black Schwinn bicycle stolen from the residence within the past week.

9:36pm A traffic warning was issued in the area of Whetstone and Beal Avenue.

10:14pm Officers responded to a dispute in the 600 block of E. Rensselaer St. Clifton Rice, 54, was issued summonses for charges of Resisting Arrest and Menacing from a previous incident.

10:38pm Officers mediated a custody dispute in the 800 block of Clay Street.

11:19pm Officers responded to the 1300 block of High St. for a domestic violence complaint. Joshua Malone, 33, was arrested on charges of Domestic Violence. He was transported to the Crawford County Justice Center to be held for court. Four income tax summonses were also served there.

12:27am A disturbance in the 300 block of W. Mansfield Street was an assault complaint.

2:39am A disturbance in the 100 block of N. Poplar St. was unfounded, subjects had dispersed.

2:52am A report of a suspicious vehicle on Franklin Street was investigated.

7:42am Officers investigate a hit skip accident in the 1100 block of S. Walnut St.

7:58am A false alarm in the 500 block of N. Lane was received.

11:38am A false alarm in the 1100 block of Isaac-Beal Rd was received.

12:04pm Officers picked up an abandoned Murray girl’s bike in the 1100 block of Maple St.

12:39pm Officers checked the area for a possible intoxicated man in the Spring/Mansfield St. area.

12:54pm Officers investigated a report of a possible impaired driver in the 1700 block of Marion Rd.

1:04pm A disturbance in the 100 block of E. Charles St. was investigated.

2:25pm A false alarm in the 100 block of Fisher was received.

2:55pm A message was delivered for Richland County Sheriff’s Department regarding a hit-skip crash in that county.

3:32pm A report of suspicious people in the area of Virginia and Martin Av. was investigated. They were having car trouble.

4:29pm A person was warned for trespassing and telecommunications harassment in the 1300 block of E. Southern Av.

4:40pm Two income tax summons were issued in the 300 block of W. Mary St.

5:07pm Officers responded to a domestic dispute in the 1200 block of S. Sandusky Av. It was a verbal dispute, no assaults or threats.

5:55pm A credit card found at Little Caesars was turned in to the Police Department.

5:59pm Three Nano I-Pad cases found in the 600 block of E. Rensselaer St. were turned into the Police Department.

6:17pm A welfare check was requested in the 100 block of W. Mansfield St.

6:35pm A false alarm at Sears was investigated.

6:49pm A report of a shoplifting is being investigated at Walmart.

7:11pm Officers investigated the report of a suspicious person in the 800 block of S. Sandusky Av.

7:31pm Four income tax summons were issued in the 100 block of N. Spring St.

8:52pm One income tax summons was served to an inmate at the County Jail.

9:44pm A report of a possibly impaired driver was unfounded.

10:30pm Leah Kocher, 27, was arrested in the 400 block of Wallace Av. on a Crawford County warrant. She was issued a court date to appear and released.

11:38pm A false alarm was received from the 600 block of Virginia Ave.

Dec. 20

12:07am A report of a suspicious vehicle in the 1800 block of E. Mansfield St. was a subject waiting to provide a ride to another party.

2:47am Officers investigated a domestic problem in the 600 block of N. Sandusky Ave. One of the parties left the area voluntarily.

6:23am A false alarm was received from the 500 block of N. Lane St.

9:18am A suspicious vehicle in the 700 block of E. Rensselaer St. was found to be train enthusiasts.

10:22am Officers mediated a domestic dispute in the 200 block of W. Charles St.

11:37am A false alarm was received from the 800 block of Whetstone St.

3:42pm A N. Walnut St. resident reported a theft of money.

4:51pm Officers spoke to a person at the police department about a custody dispute.

5:00pm Officer responded to an assault complaint in the 400 block of E. Rensselaer St. Dominique Benedict, 18, was located and arrested in the 400 block of E. Mansfield St. on charges of criminal mischief and marijuana drug paraphernalia. He was taken to the Crawford County Justice Center to be held.

8:21pm Officer conducted a traffic stop on E. Southern Ave. Brittany Pratt-Witten, 25, was arrested on a Warrant out of Marion County Sheriff’s Office. and Adam F. Chapman was cited for driving under suspension and arrested for drug paraphernalia.

11:24pm A traffic warning was given in the area of N. Sandusky Ave. and Gaius St.

11:55pm A traffic warning was given in the area of Plymouth St. and High St.

2:35am A traffic warning was given in the 500 block of S. Sandusky Ave.

2:48am A noise complaint in the 1100 block of Tiffin St. was a neighborhood dispute that was mediated.
