Leesville Grange #2078 met at Jefferson Twp. Fire Dept. on Dec. 1 at 6:30 PM with a soup supper smorgasbord. Master/President Donald Graf offered prayer before the meal and presided over the meeting.

The Legislative report was a report stating that the Ohio State Grange supports the Rover gas pipeline project which is to be beneficial to farmers.

The Family Activities Chairperson, Priscilla Laughbaum read that the National Grange quilt block project has concluded. The Ohio State Grange Family Activities directors’ quilt block challenge garnered enough blocks to make two quilts, wall hanging and pillow.

The Deaf Activities Chairman read an article in regard to ear buds causing hearing loss if put on high volume. Dogs for the Deaf project will continue for another year.

Community Services Chairman thanks all for bringing items for Crestline Community Christmas.

Communication was a letter from the Rehab Telethon asked for a donation.

Lecturer’s Program theme for the evening was “The Celebrating of National Cookie Cutter and Cookie Day”.

The next regular Leesville/Pomona Grange meeting will be held at the .Jefferson Twp. Fire Department on Jan. 5 at 7 PM. Scrapbook workshop for Filling Home of Mercy. Lunch will be appetizers.
