Heavy snow possible Wednesday night, Thursday in Galion, 3-6 inches, followed by frigid temps

CLEVELAND — The National Weather service has not issued any warnings or advisories yet, but heavy snowfall is possible Wednesday evening into Thursday morning forĀ  this part of Ohio.

Snow is likely Wednesday afternoon, with some sleet possible. About an inch of snow is expected. The heavy stuff will come down late Wednesday into Thursday morning. The weather service — as of 1 p.m. today — is predicting another 3 to 5 inches of snow.

Another inch or so is possible Thursday with temperatures falling throughout the day. The low is expected to be about 9 degrees. The snow showers are expected to stop by midnight and the clear skies will allow for even more frigid temperatures

Thursday’s predicted high is just 15 and and the low Friday is expected to be about 4 degrees.

Temperatures are expected to be start warming by Saturday with highs in the mid 40 expected next week.
