8:49am A report of a suspicious person in the 900 block of Reid St. was investigated.

9:08am A motorist was assisted in entering their locked vehicle in the 1500 block of Isaac Beal Rd.

9:23am Officers responded to a report of an injury accident in the 1300 block of Whetstone St. The vehicle driver accidentally accelerated into a building on the parking lot of Morgan Manor apartments. The vehicle was disabled and towed and the driver was transported by EMS with minor injury.

10:01am A report of a breaking and entering in the 700 block of Tiffin St. was investigated.

10:15am A motorist reported hitting a deer on Nevada Rd. last evening. There was no damage to the vehicle.

10:36am Officers investigated two reportedly suspicious people carrying a tire in the 100 block E. Charles St.

10:48am A W. Oakwood Ave. resident reported someone putting their trash out at her residence.

11:04am Officers secured a garage that had been left open.

11:30am A vehicle was towed from the area of Fisher and Reid for 48 hour parking violation.

12:37pm A motorist was assisted in entering their locked vehicle in the 200 block of E. Mary St.

3:31pm Officers investigated a domestic dispute in the 800 block of S. Spring St. One of the parties had moved out and left voluntarily.

5:06pm A two vehicle non-injury minor rear end collision was reported in the 900 block of Marion Rd.

6:51pm A traffic warning was issued in the area of Southern and Highland Av.

7:00pm A disturbance was investigated at Outhwaite reservoir.

9:01pm Officers investigated a disturbance in the 400 block of Kaler Av. It was a work crew that was finishing roof work for the day.

9:12pm A 911 hang up call was investigated in the 800 block of E. Rensselaer St. It was an accidental call.

9:21pm Officers checked a report of an erratic driver into town from the east on Hopley Av.

9:36pm A report of a dog being left out in the rain and barking in the 800 block of E. Rensselaer St. was unfounded.

11:32pm A resident in the 200 block of Whetstone St. reported someone was attempting to open the front door to her home. Officers checked the area and found everything was all right.

11:37pm A report of a barking dog in the 800 block of Sunset Dr. was a dog that had gotten loose.

11:39pm A traffic citation was issued in the area of N. Sandusky Ave. and Mansfield St. for a red light violation.

11:45pm Officers assisted a motorist in the 500 block of S. Sandusky Ave.

Oct. 13

12:38am An employee of Bucyrus Community Hospital reported her purse stolen from a vehicle while parked in the hospital parking lot.

2:40am Officers assisted an employee of Bucyrus Community Hospital locked out of their vehicle.
