A Tiro man died Sunday evening in crash that took place on Quigg Road, approximately three quarters of a mile east of New Haven Road.
According to reports, Larry Rhinebolt, 59, of Tiro,was westbound on Quigg Road in a 2013 Chevrolet Truck when his vehicle ran off the roadway to the left. Officials said his vehicle then crossed back over the road and ran off the right side of the road and struck several trees before overturning and coming to final rest in the tree line.
Police said Rhinebolt was not wearing his safety belt and was ejected from the vehicle.
Rhinebolt was pronounced dead at the scene by Life Flight. Troopers were assisted on scene by Life Star Ambulance, Tiro Alburn Fire Department and Life Flight.
The crash remains under investigation.
