Tigers, Knights perfect at halfway point of 2019 football season

GALION — Last week, area high school football teams put a wrap on week five of the 2019 schedules.

The Galion Tigers and the Northmor Golden Knights survived their week five contests with both teams remaining undefeated at 5-0. Galion will host Clear Fork in week six action. For Northmor, a tough challenge awaits as the Knights play undefeated East Knox Bulldogs.

Colonel Crawford hosted Wynford on Friday and lost their sixth in a row to the Royals to fall to 3-2 on the season while the Crestline Bulldogs made a trip to Arlington and were shutout in their contest to drop to 2-3 on the season. For Clear Fork, they dropped their first-ever MOAC contest against on the road against River Valley to stumble to 3-2 overall.

Below is a breakdown of records, scoring and defense for the teams in the Mid-Ohio Athletic Conference, the Knox-Morrow Athletic Conference and the Northern-10 Athletic Conference, as well as figures for the Crestline Bulldogs.
