Stellar Robotics Team 5413 successfully defended their title Sept. 26 during the Mahoning Valley Robotics Challenge.

The team competed with 22 other teams from Ohio, Pennsylvania and New York at Warren G. Harding High School in Warren.

“This is the goal of the program, to help students learn, build and increase STEM skills,” said Chantal DeYoe, one of the team’s administrative mentors. “Now that we are entering our second year of the program, the second-year students will be able to teach what they’ve learned to incoming students as well as increase their own skills. We want to make learning opportunities available to students all over Richland County and the surrounding areas.”
