The Friends of the Galion Public Library will be having a Ohio State football ticket raffle fall fundraiser to raise money for the Galion Public Library.
The friends are raffling a chance to win two tickets for the Nov. 7 game between OSU and Minnesota.
“This is the first time in a couple of years we have had (Buckeye) tickets,” Friends of the Galion Public Library President Joyce Kirk said “They are really good seats from what I understand.”
The Friends of the Library are excited to have the tickets to help raise money for the library.
“The last time the tickets brought in a lot of money for the library.” Kirk said. “We were able to do a lot of things for the library and that is what we are about – to help the library.”
The Galion Public Library Director Vicki Eckenrod is very grateful for the money they have raised to help support the library.
“I don’t know where we would be without Friends,” Eckenrod said. “Especially when (the state) cuts funding. (The Friends) are able to provide us with the equipment we need to help serving the community through their fundraisers.”
