Sept. 18

9:34am Officers assisted Crawford County Probation Officers with prisoner transport in the 100 block of E. Mansfield St.

9:40am An Allen Av. resident reported a theft from their vehicle overnight.

10:21am Officers assisted a motorist locked out of their vehicle in the 100 block of Schell Av.

1:23pm Officers assisted a motorist locked out of their vehicle at Ehrharts.

2:32pm Officers assisted a motorist locked out of their vehicle at City Hall.

3:08pm A false alarm was investigated in the 600 block of Aurora St.

3:31pm One income tax summons was served in the 100 block of N. Sandusky Ave.

3:52pm A complaint was made of cigarettes in possession of an underage person.

4:03pm Officers investigated a domestic dispute in the 1000 block of Beal Av.

4:16pm A 21 year old Bucyrus man is being held at the Crawford County Justice Center for investigation on felony Possession of Heroin charges.

4:28pm Officers assisted Bucyrus Ohio State Patrol units in the area of State Route 19.

4:59pm A Bland Ave. resident reported damage to a garage.

5:05pm A report of a disturbance was received at the Police department.

5:14pm A 10 year old boy was reported missing. He was found a short time later and returned to his guardian.

5:22pm A theft report was taken at the Police department.

5:36pm A report of a dog barking was unfounded in the 300 block of S. Spring St.

5:42pm Property found in the 1800 block of E. Mansfield St. was turned over to officers.

5:46pm Michael L. Fletcher, 28, was arrested in the 100 block of N. Lane St. on a Crawford County warrant. He was issued a court date to appear and release.

6:07pm A 13 year old Bucyrus boy was arrested on a warrant out of Juvenile Court and was transported to Marion Juvenile Detention Center. A 16 year old Bucyrus boy was arrested on charges of Menacing and Underage Possession of Tobacco. He was released to a parent pending a court date through Juvenile Court.

6:20pm Officers assisted Life Support ambulance personnel in the 800 block of S. Poplar St.

8:01pm A report of someone on a 4 wheeler in the 400 block of E. Warren Street was investigated. The person was located and had the 4 wheeler on private property.

9:01pm Officers mediated a noise dispute and two income tax summons were served in the 900 block of Elm Street.

9:32pm A 9-1-1 hang up call from the Bucyrus Estates was investigated. No one was located needing assistance.

10:08pm A domestic disturbance at Bucyrus Plaza was resolved, no assaults or threats and one of the parties left voluntarily.

10:36pm A report of a loud party in the 500 block of S. Spring Street was investigated. There was no violation found.

11:03pm A warning for loud music was issued in the 800 block of S. East Street.

11:22pm Officers checked on a suspicious vehicle in the area of Melody and Fairview Avenue. It was a resident’s former girlfriend driving past.

11:39pm A resident in the 300 block of S. Spring Street reported hearing someone around her residence. No one was located in the area and there was no damage located.

11:56pm A disturbance in the 100 block of S. Sandusky Avenue was a verbal dispute between two men and one was issued three income tax summonses.

Sept. 19

12:41am Officers checked on a suspicious vehicle at Sandusky and Irving. The driver was waiting for someone.

12:41am A fight in the area of Rensselaer and Lane Street was investigated. A vehicle was damaged in the area and a report was taken.

1:04am Officers were out with a suspicious male in the 500 block of E. Rensselaer Street. He was an individual involved in the previous disturbance.

1:55am Officers were out with a bicyclist in the area of Charlotte and Rogers Street.

2:01am A traffic citation for Driving Under Suspension was issued on Wingert Street. The driver was also issued a summons for income tax.

2:07am Martin Wyeth, 42, was arrested on a Crawford County warrant and a charge of Open Container. He was issued a minor misdemeanor citation and given a court date for the warrant.

2:34am A traffic warning was issued in Washington Square.

2:40am A disturbance in the area of Sunset and Melody Drive was investigated.

8:37am A false alarm was investigated in the 100 block of Hill St.

9:43am An abandoned bicycle found in the 700 block of E. Rensselaer St. was brought to the Police Department.

9:55am Officers investigated a domestic dispute in the 800 block of Clay St.

10:23am An E. Rensselaer St. resident reported a break in to their garage. A mini bike was reported stolen.

11:41am Officers investigated a domestic dispute over a key at Bucyrus Plaza.

1:22pm Officers investigated a report of juveniles digging in trash in the 600 block of Hopley Av. The kids were looking for toys and the caller gave the kids some toys and they were asked to stay out of the refuse.

1:50pm A disturbance was reported in the 200 block of Ethel St.

1:55pm A report of vandalism was in the 400 block of Hopley Av. was found to be old damage.

1:58pm Loud music was reported on Hill St.

2:03pm A traffic warning was issued in the 200 block of N. Sandusky Av.

2:33pm A missing person report was taken on a Marion resident. The person later returned home.

2:39pm Officers assisted a motorist locked out of their vehicle in the 300 block of E. Rensselaer St.

3:44pm A disturbance in the area of Beverly and Wilbur St. was investigated.

3:58pm A report of two suspicious people in the area of Beverly & Wilbur St. was checked. The two individuals had a verbal dispute with the driver of a vehicle that had left the area.

4:38pm Officers assisted Life Support Ambulance personnel in the 300 block of E. Mansfield St.

4:52pm Officers investigated a report of a juvenile disturbance in the 600 block of E. Oakwood St.

5:12pm A false alarm was investigated in the 600 block of Aurora St.

5:42pm Officers investigated a domestic violence complaint at Bucyrus Plaza. Jonathan Strykul, 48, was arrested on domestic violence charges at the Police Department. He is accused of assaulting his live in girlfriend at Bucyrus Plaza. He was transported to Crawford County Justice Center to be held for court.

5:45pm A report of a juvenile girl walking alone on Keiss Rd. near the reservoir was investigated. She was with her father and they were fishing.

7:49pm Officers delivered a message for the New Richmond Police Department.

8:34pm A Waterford Glen resident reported money stolen. The report remains under investigation.

9:26pm Officer assisted staff at Bucyrus Hospital with an unruly subject.

9:35pm A Wiley St. resident reported a theft of a PS3 game system.

9:58pm A disturbance between a male and female pedestrian was investigated in the area of Woodlawn and Whetstone St. One income tax summons was served to one of the parties involved.

11:23pm Jeffery Hawkins, 50, was arrested on a charge of OVI in the 1800 block of N. Sandusky Ave. He was issued a citation and released to a sober family member.

11:33pm A traffic warning was issued in the 500 block of S. Sandusky Avenue.

Sept. 20

12:03am A traffic warning was issued in the 100 block of S. Walnut Street.

12:19am A traffic warning was issued in the 1800 block of E. Mansfield Street.

12:30am A traffic warning was issued in the 1800 block of E. Mansfield Street.

12:37am A traffic warning was issued in the area of Penn and Sommer Avenue.

1:14am A traffic warning was issued in the area of N. Sandusky and Plymouth Street.

2:02am An individual in the 100 block of W. Mansfield St. reported receiving harassing and threatening messages while at work.

2:15am Officers investigated a disturbance in the 100 block of N. Poplar St. and Heather Massey, 29, was arrested on charges of Disorderly Conduct. She was issued a minor misdemeanor citation and released.

2:27am Officers responded with EMS to the 200 block of N. Walnut Street.

4:15am A family dispute in the 800 block of Cleland Street was investigated.

5:05am Officers responded to a domestic violence complaint in the 600 block of S. Walnut St. Jeryn Frizzell, 32, was arrested on a charge of Domestic Violence. He was also served with 13 summonses for income tax. He was transported to the Crawford County Justice Center to be held for court.

8:51am A false alarm was investigated at Indian Valley Apartments.

9:17am A dispute regarding loud music was investigated in the 900 block of E. Mansfield St.

9:57am Two income tax summons were served in the 700 block of E. Rensselaer St.

10:27am Adam Drew, 26, was arrested on assault charges. He was issued a summons to appear in court and released.

10:31am A noise disturbance involving a demolition derby car was investigated in the 200 block of S. Highland Av. The subject with the car apologized and loaded their car up to go to the Wyandot County Fair.

10:49am A disturbance was investigated in the 100 block of N. Lane St. The subject causing the disturbance was not located.

1:55pm A report of a U-Haul truck hitting a bridge was reported on Highland Av.

3:34pm A report of a suspicious person in the 500 block of S. Sandusky Av. was made.

3:47pm Officers investigated a report of a motorcycle speeding on Marion Rd.

3:37pm Officers checked the welfare of two children on Wiley St. They were fine.

4:11pm A parking complaint was made in the area of Wilbur and Sherman St. The vehicle had driven away.

4:12pm Brad Sinnes, 26, was arrested in the area of Warren and Wiley on charges of domestic violence and child endangerment. He was transported to the Crawford County Justice Center to be held for court.

4:32pm A High St. resident reported four bags of trash being stolen.

5:10pm Officers checked an open door in the 1000 block of Reid St.

6:03pm A parking ticket was issued on Reid St.

6:25pm One income tax summons was served in the 1100 block of Dean St.

7:09pm Officers investigated a disturbance in the 600 block of Kaler Av.

7:14pm A report of unsupervised juveniles was made in the 1700 block of Marion Rd.

8:13pm A telephone found in the 400 block of Union St. was turned over to officers.

8:17pm Officers assisted Life Support Ambulance personnel on Washington Square.

8:27pm A traffic warning was issued in the 200 block of E. Mansfield St.

8:32pm A warning for No Lights on Bicycles was issued in the area of East and Charles Street.

9:21pm A report of a suspicious vehicle in the 1400 block of Whetstone turned out to be someone looking for their dogs which had gotten loose.

9:29pm A traffic warning was issued in the 1100 block of E. Mansfield Street.

9:37pm A domestic disturbance in the 100 block of Schell Avenue was resolved when one subject left voluntarily for the night.

9:48pm A report of a disorderly patient at the Bucyrus ER was received; the subject had left the premises.

9:50pm A report of a barking dog in the 400 block of Plymouth Street was investigated. There was no violation when officers checked the area.

10:45pm A disturbance in the 800 block of S. Highland Avenue was unfounded, an intoxicated subject there was calm and with friends.

Sept. 21

12:22am A bicycle found abandoned in the area of River Street and Plants Way was brought to the Police Department.

2:20am An open building in the 600 block of Woodlawn Avenue was investigated. The building was secured.

5:00am A traffic warning was issued on East Street.

6:35am A resident in the 600 block of E. Warren Street reported her vehicle hit while parked in front of her resident overnight.
