AU coach will speak at community breakfast

BUCYRUS —Coach John Ellenwood, head men’s basketball coach at Ashland University, will be the guest speaker for the next men’s community breakfast. It will take place in the cafeteria at Bucyrus Community Hospital on Wednesday, May 8, 2019 at 7 a.m. Ladies are more than welcome to attend.

Garage sale May 10 at Mount Zion

BUCYRUS — Mount Zion United Methodist Church, 1345 S. Sandusky Ave., will have a garage sale Friday, May 10, from , 8 a.m. to 5 p.m.. and Saturday, May 11, 8 a.m. to 3 p.m. Money made at the garage sale will be used for mission work a the church.

May immunization schedule announced

GALION — The Galion City Health Department, 113 Harding Way East, has daytime immunization appointment times Wednesday, May 8; Wednesday May 15, last slot is 5:40 .m.; and Wednesday, May 22. Call to schedule your appointment and have all insurance information ready. Medicaid and many private insurance cards will be accepted and must be provided by the time of service. Those with multiple insurance carriers must bring all cards. No VFC eligible child will be denied immunizations due to the inability to pay.

Next health department meeting is May 14

GALION — The Galion Board of Health will meet at 5 p.m. on Tuesday, May 14 at the Health Department office, 113 Harding Way East.

Another summer of cruise-ins set in Ontario

ONTARIO — The Pizza Hut – Wingstreet Classic Car, Truck & Cycle Cruise return for a seventh season to 365 N. Lexington-Springmill Road. The first Thursday night cruise is May 2from 4-8 p.m.. Cruises will continue every Thursday throughout the summer — except July 4 — with the last one Oct. 3. There will be no July 4th cruise-in. Cruisers enjoy the music, food specials, door prizes and games. This year the cruise-in will move inside if the weather becomes a problem.
