Aug. 21

6:45am A traffic citation was issued in the area of Walnut and Warren St.

8:40am A traffic warning was issued in the Beal Ave. area.

9:07am A Bucyrus Plaza resident reported their vehicle struck by an unknown vehicle while parked at the residence yesterday.

10:38am Officers assisted a motorist locked out of their vehicle in the 1600 block of Marion Rd.

10:38am Officers assisted a resident of Bucyrus Manor who had locked themselves out of their apartment.

10:58am Officers delivered a message for Tiffin Police department.

11:08am A false alarm in the 900 block of E. Mansfield St. was investigated.

11:23am Officers assisted a motorist locked out of their vehicle in the 600 block of Woodlawn Av.

11:34am A neighborhood dispute in the 100 block of Wiley St. was investigated.

1:21pm A 16 year old male was arrested in the 800 block of S. Highland Ave. for possession of marijuana and juvenile possession of tobacco.

2:03pm A disturbance was investigated in the 900 block of W. Perry St.

2:20pm A theft report was taken in the 1600 block of Marion Rd.

2:28pm A parking complaint was investigated in the 300 block of W. Rensselaer St.

2:30pm A welfare check was requested on E. Oakwood St. resident and the individual was fine.

4:20pm Officers checked a reported of a suspicious person in the area of Laura & Lynne and it was a parent waiting for a school bus to return children.

4:33pm Officers conducted a traffic stop near Lane St. and E. Mansfield St. Michael Shaw, 18, was arrested for possession of drug paraphernalia.

4:39pm A welfare check was requested on a female walking along the railroad tracks near N. Sandusky who had fallen. Officers did not locate the woman.

4:49pm An E. Irving St. resident reported a break in at their residence. Officers made contact with a suspect on Washington Square and recovered stolen property from the break in and the individual was arrested for an outstanding warrant, possession of drug abuse instruments and is being held in Crawford County Jail for burglary.

4:53pm Officers mediated a domestic issue in the 400 block of W. Mansfield St.

5:46pm Officers assisted an employee of Norfolk and Southern RR in the 1500 block of S. Sandusky Ave.

6:06pm A report of juveniles being disorderly at the Bucyrus Public Library was checked and one juvenile male was dismissed from the property.

6:13pm A report of juveniles being disorderly in the area of Wilbur St. and Beverly Dr. was investigated.

6:20pm Officers assisted a motorist locked out of their vehicle in the 300 block of S. Spring St.

7:56pm A report of a subject trespassing in the 1000 block of Nevada Rd. was investigated. It was a property line disagreement regarding composting.

8:02pm A report of a possibly intoxicated male walking in the 400 block of Myers St. was investigated.

8:24pm A resident in the 600 block of Hopley Ave. reported a bicycle stolen. It was later recovered.

9:19pm A report of juveniles looking in parked vehicles in the 1300 block of W. Mansfield St. was investigated.

10:04pm A scooter found in the 500 block of S. Sandusky Ave. was turned in to the department.

10:19pm A report of a possible gunshot in the 1000 block of E. Beal Ave. was investigated. All was quiet in the area.

11:09pm A domestic incident in the 1100 block of Teddy Ave. was investigated.

11:18pm A report of 2 suspicious subjects at the soccer field on N. Lane St. was investigated.

11:30pm A female was assisted with a domestic issue she was having.

11:39pm A report of 2 suspicious males behind Southern Lights Shopping Center was investigated. The subjects reside at Bucyrus Plaza behind the shopping plaza.

Aug. 22

12:49am Officers checked a loud music complaint in the 400 block of W. Center St.

2:02am A disturbance at involving a couple at an establishment on Washington Square was checked. They had left the premises.

2:14am A report of a possible domestic issue in a vehicle in the 400 block of N. Sandusky Ave. was investigated.

2:20am Officers issued a parking ticket in the city lot off of N. Poplar St.

2:24am Richard Wade, 40, was arrested for possessing an open container of alcohol in public at the city lot off of N. Poplar St. He was issued a minor misdemeanor citation and released.

5:22am Officers conducted a welfare check in the 700 block of Hopley Ave.

6:07am A false alarm at the Bucyrus City Garage was investigated.

9:28am Officers took a report of vandalism in the 500 block of Plymouth St.

2:50pm A false alarm at Bucyrus Secondary School was investigated.

3:33pm Officers received a report of a dirt bike on the street on Schaber.

4:22pm A welfare check on children was done in the 900 block of S. East St.

4:54pm Sheena Belcher, 27, was arrested in the 100 block of E. Charles St. on a warrant out of Crawford County. She was issued with a date to appear in court and released.

5:12pm Officers picked up a syringe lying in the area of E. Warren St. and Jones St.

7:17pm Officers investigated a report of vandalism in the 1100 block of Orra St.

8:48pm A report of a group of females possibly breaking into a business on Washington Square was investigated. The owner was found to be there and the females had permission to be inside.

11:19pm A 16 year old male was arrested for domestic violence in the 700 block of S. Spring St. He was transported to Marion Juvenile Detention Center to be held for an appearance in Juvenile Court.

11:22pm Officers mediated a domestic issue in the 400 block of S. Poplar St.

Aug. 23

12:00am A resident in the 200 block of Bland Ave. reported a neighbor has been driving through his yard.

12:38am A male was warned for no lights on his bicycle in the city lot off of N. Poplar St.

12:52am A report of a suspicious female in the 500 block of S. East St. was investigated.

1:55am Ashley Phillips, 23, was arrested in the city parking lot off of the 100 block of N. Poplar St. for possession of an open container of alcohol in public. She was issued a minor misdemeanor citation and released.

2:16am A report of a possible fight in the 400 block of E. Charles St. was investigated.

2:44am A traffic warning was given in the area of S. Poplar St. and W. Warren St.

3:49am Officers mediated a domestic issue in the 100 block of E. Liberty St.

4:55am Nathaniel McGinnis, 28, was arrested for violation of the city noise ordinance. He was issued with a minor misdemeanor citation and released.

12:35pm Officers made a welfare check in the 500 block of Kaler Ave.

1:10pm A disturbance in the 600 block of N. Sandusky Ave. was investigated.

1:38pm Officers met with a subject who stated he was being bothered by another individual in the area of Poplar and Mansfield.

1:56pm A subject was assisted in entering his locked vehicle in the 1500 block of N. Sandusky Ave.

2:37pm A crash report was taken in the 1500 block of N. Sandusky Ave. and a traffic citation was issued.

2:39pm A subject was assisted in entering her locked vehicle in the 800 block of S. Sandusky Ave.

3:16pm A parking complaint was checked in the 600 block of W. Charles St. and the vehicle had been moved.

4:44pm A report of a disturbance between neighbors was a civil dispute between tenants at Morgan Manor.

5:59pm Officers warned two teen boys against trespassing on Wheeler St.

6:29pm Officers picked up a syringe in the 400 block of E. Charles St.

6:37pm A report of a domestic dispute in the 100 block of W. Galen St. was unfounded, no assaults or threats.

6:56pm A report of a suspicious person in the area of S. Poplar St. and W. Rensselaer St. was investigated.

7:06pm A female in the 200 block of Wayne Ave. reported being threatened by another female.

7:13pm Officers assisted the State Patrol in the area of State Rt. 4.

7:32pm Officers conducted a welfare check in the 100 block of Heritage Circle.

7:37pm A report of a confused male knocking on doors in the 900 block of Elm St. was investigated.

7:50pm A report of loud music in the 300 block of W. Irving St. was unfounded.

8:22pm A report of an intoxicated male in the 300 block of W. Mansfield St. was investigated.

8:39pm A report of a suspicious male in the 200 block of Whetstone St. was unfounded.

8:55pm A report of a suspicious person in the 1100 block of Willard St. was found to be a subject with permission to be at the location.

8:56pm A report of loud music in the 300 block of W. Irving St. was investigated.

9:09pm Officers responded to a disturbance in the 300 block of S. Lane St. A 17 year old male was arrested for persistent disorderly conduct, juvenile possession of tobacco, possession of marijuana, and destroying, concealing evidence. He was taken to the Marion Juvenile Detention Center to be held for an appearance in Juvenile Court. Angela Banks, 40, was arrested for parental responsibility. She was issued with a criminal summons and released with a pending court appearance.

9:09pm Miranda Bloomfield, 36, was arrested on a warrant out of Crawford County. She was issued with a date to appear in court and released.

9:31pm A report of a possible trespasser at Kroger was investigated.

11:39pm A report of a suspicious person in the 800 block of Wingert St. was investigated.

Monday, August 24, 2015

12:32am Officer responded to UDF for a report of damage to the door of the business. Dequan Johnson, 22, was arrested for criminal damaging. He was issued with a criminal summons and released with a pending court appearance.
