Job fair Oct. 5 in Bucyrus

BUCYRUS — The Crawford Partnership will host the 2017 Crawford County Job Fair on Oct. 5 from 10 a.m. to 3 p.m. at The Pickwick Place in Bucyrus.

“Events like the Job Fair are crucial to our efforts to enhance business success and workforce development through Crawford: 20/20 Vision, ” said Erin Stine, Crawford Partnership community development director. “We are excited to host this event and we hope our partners and local businesses will join us to connect our local talent with all the great opportunities that Crawford County has to offer.”

Job seekers are encouraged to bring their resumes and will be able to network with local employers and explore the many part- and full-time opportunities available in our community. There is no cost to attend the job fair if you are looking for a job.

Also, registration is currently open for businesses that would like to have a table at the event. Registration is $75 for each business slot, with the option of adding boxed lunches for $10 per lunch. Employers are encouraged to set up a table to offer detailed information about their organization and open positions.

Following the Job Fair, the Crawford Partnership will hosting an open house at its current location — 117 E. Mansfield St., Bucyrus — from 4 to 6 p.m. in conjunction with the Bucyrus Area Chamber of Commerce and Crawford Works.

All are invited to see Crawford Partnership’s re-branding efforts and renovations and the new location of the Chamber and Crawford Works.

“The Chamber, Crawford Works, and our team at the Partnership have synergized in our physical location to work in a collaborative environment while executing our own unique missions to better the community in which we live and work,” said Gary Frankhouse, executive and economic development director at the Partnership. “We hope you’ll join us during the open house to meet our teams and learn more about the exciting efforts happening to enhance the livelihood of our community for citizens and businesses.”
