Tuesday

3:02 a.m. — A caller in the 600 block of South Boston Street asked for an officer to check the area around his home stating that his dogs were alerting them to something. Nothing was found.

11:41 a.m. — Employee of Dollar General of Harding Way East notified police of a female customer who seems to be intoxicated or high. Police were unable to locate her in the area but forwarded plate info to other agencies.

7:37 p.m. — A resident reported that his son stated his mother made him go to another room at her home so she could smoke marijuana with the neighbor.

10:39 p.m. — Police were called to Galion YMCA for a report of a stolen bicycle.

11:43 p.m. — A syringe and spoon were found in the area of South Market and Parson Street. Items taken by police.

Wednesday

11:41 a.m. — The Galion Meter Department called for officer assistance at a residence on Dawsett Ave where they were investigating utility theft. Dog Warden was also called for help with a dog that has attacked other dogs.

2:24 p.m. — An employee for Oakstone Landscaping reported the theft of a leaf blower while he was working on Center St.

5:24 p.m. — A Speedway employee reported the theft of a sign.

5:37 p.m. — A male resident in the 400 block of Fairview Ave reported that a someone was driving past his residence harassing him.

Thursday

4:34 a.m. — Caller reported 2 males looking in the windows at cars at Craig Smith Auto Group on Ohio 309.

8:11 a.m. — An employee of Galion Electric/Water Billing reported possible counterfeit money.

7:52 p.m. — A Charles St resident called to report an attempted vehicle theft the previous night.

10:52 p.m. — Received a call of a suicidal male at McDonald’s on Park Avenue West. The man was transported to speak to a counselor.

11:12 p.m. — Galion Avita emergency room called to report a possible case of child abuse. Info taken for report.

Bucyrus Police

Wednesday

10:07 a.m. — Officers investigated a report of a suspicious man in the 1500 block of Linwood Drive and it was a subject visiting a resident and out walking using his phone.

12:23 p.m. — Officers are investigating a report of a woman that fell off of a moving vehicle in the 1700 block of Marion Road The woman was transported to the ER by Life Support Team.

2:45 p.m. — A report of possible child abuse was received and is under investigation.

4:41 p.m. — A false alarm at the City Water Garage was investigated.

5:27 p.m. — A verbal domestic disturbance in the 1500 block of East Mansfield Street was investigated.

7:09 p.m. — A report of a 4 wheeler at Lion’s Park was investigated and subjects pushed the vehicle home.

7:28 p.m. — Officers checked the welfare of a child in the area of Mary and Walnut Street.

7:36 p.m. — Officers investigated a parking complaint in the 400 block of Lincoln Ave. and subjects blocking a drive were playing Pokemon and moved along.

8:24 p.m. — Officers investigated a complaint of a dog bite in the 300 block of W. Irving St. and a quarantine notice was issued.

8:41 p.m. — A suspicious vehicle was investigated circling the 700 block of W. Charles Street. The subjects were looking for a lost dog.

9:55 p.m. — An 18-year-old woman man was arrested on a warrant out of Crawford County. She was issued a date to appear in court and released.

11:58 p.m. — Officers assisted Marion Police Department locating a subject for that agency.

Thursday

1:04 a.m. — Traffic stop was made near Charles St. and S. Sandusky Ave. A 31-year-old man was arrested for suspicion of operating a vehicle under the influence and cited for driving under suspension.

1:42 a.m. — Officers investigated a possible road rage incident assisting OSP with an argument between drivers that were on U.S. 30 highway.

8:28 a.m. — A 46-year-old man was arrested in the 800 block of Woodale Street and charged with domestic violence. He was transported to the Crawford County Jail pending a court appearance.

9:20 a.m. — A S East St resident reported two vehicles scratched overnight..

1:17 p.m. — Officers mediated a domestic problem in the 1200 block of Robinhood Drive.

1:55 p.m. — Along with other area agencies, Bucyrus Police Department participated in an active shooter/lock down drill at the Bucyrus Secondary School.

2:44 p.m. — Officers conducted a search warrant in the 100 block of Whetstone St. One man was taken into custody for investigative purposes and released.

4:22 p.m. — The manager of Bucyrus Manor came to the Police Department to speak to an officer about an ongoing issue at the apartment complex.

8:33 p.m. — Officers contacted the Dog Warden about a supposed vicious dog running loose in the 300 block of Aumiller Park Drive.

9:07 p.m. — A domestic disturbance in the 1300 block of Woodlawn Avenue was investigated.

Friday

5:44 a.m. — Officers investigated a report of a suspicious person in the 1700 block of Whetstone Street.
