Tuesday

Throughout the day — Police responded to several reports of down lines or trees in the city. They also did some welfare checks on family members for concerned relatives.

12:32 p.m. — A report of a suspicious person in the area of East Park’s splash park facility was investigated. Police talked to the man, and took no action.

1:56 p.m. — Police talked to people involved in a civil dispute in the 3300 block of North Columbus Street.

4:16 p.m. — Officers were advised of a broken window in a door in the 200 block of Harding Way East.

7:20 p.m. — A resident in the 1100 block of Dawsett Avenue reported a rock thrown at his car did some damage.

8:17 p.m. — A resident in the 200 block of Walker Street reported being harrassed by someone who keeps texting him.

22:40 p.m. — After responding to a dispute in the 500 block of east Church Street, a summons was issued to a woman for possession of drug paraphernalia.

Wednesday

10:34 a.m. — A caller reported that someone had taken a bank card from her husband’s wallet and used it to withdraw $60, and then replaced the bank card.

11:07 a.m. — Police checked on a false alarm reporting a hold-up at U.S. Bank.

11:15 a.m. — A report of representatives of a church were reported harassing a person in the 700 block of Sunnyside Drive.

12:28 p.m. A report of suspicious people in the 700 block of Sunnyside Drive was investigated. Officer determined the suspicious people were from Columbis Gas and would be in the area for another day.

5:47 p.m. — A report of a stolen bike was received after the bike was reportedly ditched and found in the 300 block of East Parsons Street.

6:33 p.m. — A caller reported a bike stoken from Galion Public Library. It was returned to the owner.

9:02 p.m. — Officers helped a Clymer Avenue resident catch a dog that had gotten loose.

Tuesday

7:39 a.m. — Officers spoke to an unruly juvenile in the 400 block of S. Walnut Street about going to school.

8:04 a.m. — A domestic disturbance in the 600 block of Myers Street was resolved by one of the parties leaving.

9:17 a.m. — A report of a vehicle hitting a speed limit sign and driving away was investigated in the 500 block of Tiffin Street.

10:53 a.m. — A two-vehicle accident in the area of Plymouth and Beverly Drive was investigated and a citation issued to the driver of the car that crashed into the rear end of a truck.

2:33 p.m. — Officers assisted EMS personnel in the 600 block of Kaler Street.

3:45 p.m. — A two-vehicle crash was investigated in the area of Beal and Whetstone Street. One vehicle was a white convertible and the other a blue station wagon. One of the vehicles had heavy damage and was towed and one of the drivers was treated for minor injury.

4:08 p.m. — A Bucyrus resident came to the Police Department to report someone accessing her credit card account.

5:22 p.m. — A domestic disturbance at Washington Square was a verbal argument.

7:04 p.m. — A two -vehicle crash in the 300 block of E. Mansfield Street was investigated.

9:50 p.m. — Officers responded to a disturbance in the 1000 block of Dean St. It was an argument and was mediated.

Wednesday

12:19 a.m. — Officers assisted a resident in the 600 block of Kaler Ave. who had a bat in their home and removed the bat.

9:53 a.m. — A subject spoke with an officer in the 200 block of E Mansfield St regarding a domestic dispute.

11:25 a.m. — A Wallace Ave resident reported a ring stolen from his residence in the past two months.

2:57 p.m. — Officers assisted a subject experiencing mental health issues.

3:40 p.m. — A two-vehicle minor collision of a 2014 Silverado backing into a parked truck on Dundee Trail was investigated and a citation was issued.

3:53 p.m. — A resident in the 700 block of Sunset Drive reported trespassing.

5:03 p.m. — Officers spoke to a subject on station about threats his daughter was receiving from another juvenile.

5:26 p.m. — A two-vehicle non-injury crash between a GMC and a blue truck in the area of Mansfield and Whetstone Street was investigated and a citation was issued.

5:46 p.m. — A report of possible child abuse was received and is under investigation.

8:14 p.m. — Officers conducted a stand by for exchange of property in the 800 block of S. Spring St. During the call, a 24-year-old woman was arrested on a Crawford County warrant.

9:06 p.m. — A domestic disturbance in the 100 block of Whetstone Street was investigated.

9:29 p.m. — A report of a door open in the 900 block of S. Sandusky Ave. was an employee that was still inside closing up for the night.

11:39 p.m. — Officers investigated a report of a male and female arguing in the 400 block of East Charles St. and it was a verbal domestic dispute.

Thursday

1:30 p.m. — Officers assisted Life Support in the 200 W Rensselaer St.

6:24 p.m. — A disturbance was investigated in the 700 block of Sunset Dr. and one of the parties left voluntarily.

6:48 p.m. — A false alarm was investigated in the 1300 block of Woodlawn Av.

7:37 p.m. — A verbal warning was issued about loud music in the area of Woodlawn and Wiley St.

8:05 p.m. — A juvenile complaint was made in the 200 block of E. Mary St.

8:33 p.m. — A disturbance was investigated at Bucyrus Plaza and the parties were separated.

9:05 p.m. — Officers assisted CCSO on a traffic stop on County Road 330.

11:44 p.m. — A domestic disturbance in the 500 block of Failor Street was investigated.

Friday

1:02 a.m. — A report of an elderly male missing from the 1700 block of Whetstone Street was received. He was later located by another family member.
