Friday

1:11 a.m. — Police investigated a domestic dispute in the 500 block of East Walnut. A woman called reporting her ex was at the house and would not leave.

1:12 a.m. — A caller in the 100 block of Shady Lane reported hearing noises in her basement. When officers investigated, nothing odd was found.

1:21 a.m. — A caller in the 200 block of Orange Street called to report someone had tried to break into their residence and they heard them running away, down the driveway.

3:31 a.m. — A caller in the 700 block of Orange Street told police someone had been in the upper part of the house. Police didn’t find anything unusual.

9:11 a.m. — A caller in the 200 block of Cumming Street reported someone had cut the air conditioning line in a vehicle.

10:51 a.m. — Three tires were reportedly cut on a vehicle in the 300 block of North Columbus Street.

2:25 p.m. — After receiving a call about an electrical box being “messed with,” a City of Galion employee investigated and got stung by a wasp. The door to the business in the 800 block of Portland Way North was boarded shut from the inside.

4:18 p.m. — A motorcyclist reported almost being run off the road by a “silverish vehicle, possible a Grand Prix” on Retig Road.

8:17 p.m. — Officers investigated a reported fight in the 100 block of South Riblet Street.

9:35 p.m. — A 32-year-old man was arrested on a warrant in the 600 block of North Columbus Street.

10:24 p.m. — Officers determined that a lock was broken on a shed at South Park.

Saturday

3:14 a.m. — A 45-year-old woman was arrested during a traffic stop on charges possession of drugs, possession of drug abuse instruments and possession of drug paraphernalia. She was taken to the Crawford County Justice Center.

11:29 a.m. — A worker at the Hometown Inn called police to report a resident who was supposed to leave today was drunk and would not leave as expected. Officers arrested a 58-year-old man on disorderly conduct charges and take to the Crawford County jail.

12:48 p.m. — A 42-year-old man was arrested on a misdemeanor warrant in the Galion West Shopping Center

1:16 p.m. — A resident of an apartment in the 300 block of South Boston Street reported the door to the apartment had been broken into.

1:28 p.m. — Officers reported about 100 dead carp at Amick Reservoir.

11:57 p.m. — Police investigated a civil dispute in the 500 block of East Walnut Area.

Sunday

12:35 a.m. — An argument over a “laser light” was investigated at the pump house on Powers Reservoir. A man in a car reportedly was distracted and almost wrecked his vehicle when the laser was shone into his eyes.

11:13 a.m. — Police investigated an abuse case in an Oliver Street residence in which a person had reportedly been left in a wheel chair for several days.

6:05 p.m. — A shopper at Dollar Tree reported someone had run into her vehicle while she was shopping.

6:24 p.m. — A bike was reported stolen in the500 block of Hensley Avenue.

Monday

9:05 a.m. — A citation was issued for driving with an expired license to after a minor hit-and-run accident at Galion Primary School.

9:49 a.m. — A resident in the 200 block of Clymer Avenue reported a laptop stolen from the home.

12:30 p.m. — An assault that occurred over the weekend was reported. Galion police took information for a report after being contacted by probation officers from Richland County.

2 p.m. — A person called police from the Ashtray on Bucyrus Road and said he was threatened by a man who said he would ‘“blow my head off.”

5:36 p.m. — A resident in the 400 block of Hensley Avenue reported finding a bike in a ditch.

7:09 p.m. — A Grove Avenue resident told police her daughter is being harassed by a teenager and her mother.

7:46 p.m. — A resident in the 100 block of South Street reported a being threatened by a drunk man on his porch. Police arrested the “drunk” on a charge of disorderly conduct.

7:08 a.m. — Officers assisted a baby deer that was stuck in the 400 block of W Mansfield St.

2:13 p.m. — A report of a disturbance in the 1700 block of Whetstone St. was investigated.

3:15 p.m. — Officers assisted Life Support in the 100 block of Washington Square.

3:38 p.m. — Officers investigated a report of a suspicious vehicle in the 200 block of Plymouth St.

5:59 p.m. — A two vehicle accident in the area of Mary Street and Broadway Alley was investigated.

7:41 p.m. — Officers investigated a report of dogs fighting and a female bit by the dogs in the area of Woodlawn and Jones Street.

8:05 p.m. — Officers and EMS personnel assisted a male subject who had passed out on the front steps of City Hall.

8:26 p.m. — A hit skip accident in the 100 block of W. Mansfield Street was investigated

9:23 p.m. — A 33-year-old man was arrested on an Ontario Police Department warrant.

10:22 p.m. — Officers checked on a group of people at Aumiller park. They were found to be playing basketball and were advised of the park closing time.

11:25 p.m. — A report of 2 suspicious males with flashlights in the 700 block of W. Perry St. was investigated.

12:24 a.m. — A West Mansfield St. resident reported a bicycle stolen.

12:29 a.m. — A report of a group of intoxicated people causing a disturbance in front of the Horseshoe Bar was investigated.

12:46 a.m. — Officers checked around a residence in the 200 block of W. Oakwood Ave. per the homeowner’s request.

1:13 a.m. — A report of a disturbance in front of the Horseshoe was investigated.

1:41 a.m. — Officers investigated a disturbance in the 300 block of Iron St.

1:42 a.m. — Officers investigated a domestic issue in the 200 block of E. Galen St.

7:43 a.m. — A Norwalk motorist was cited for allowing persons to ride outside a vehicle, and a Cleveland resident was charged with riding outside a vehicle in the 200 block of S Poplar St.

7:49 a.m. — Property found in the 200 block of E Lucas St. was an art painting brought on station.

9:17 a.m. — A report of a breaking and entering in the 1700 block of Marion Rd. was unfounded.

9:24 a.m. — Officers checked on a report of a broken water main in the area of Mansfield and Highland Ave. The water department was contacted and fixed the leak.

1:00 p.m. — Officers assisted with a vehicle lock out in the 900 block of W Perry St.

3:43 p.m. — Officers assisted Life Support in the 100 block of Washington Square.

3:44 p.m. — Officers assisted Crawford County So with an accident on Ohio 98.

5:00 p.m. — A resident in the 800 block of Woodale Street reported receiving harassing messages from someone they know.

5:44 p.m. — A three vehicle non-injury crash in the 200 block of S. Walnut Street was investigated.

6:57 p.m. — A resident in the 400 block of Myers Street reported being assaulted by someone he knows.

7:54 p.m. — A report of a fight at Washington Square was a verbal dispute that separated.

8:50 p.m. — A Bucyrus resident came to the Police Department to speak to an officer about harassing messages from someone he knows.

8:58 p.m. — Three juveniles were warned for trespassing on the railroad tracks in the 700 block of E. Rensselaer Street.

9:22 p.m. — A resident in the 600 block of E. Warren Street reported receiving harassing and threatening messages from someone she knows. She was advised the process to file charges.

9:55 p.m. — Officers assisted EMS in the 1200 block of High St.

10:18 p.m. — Officers assisted an injured person that had a seizure on Washington Square and EMS responded.

11:43 p.m. — A 31-year-old-woman, was arrested on four warrants out of Crawford County.

11:44 p.m. — A resident in the 500 block of S. Spring St. reported a bicycle stolen.

11:57 p.m. — Officers assisted with an unruly juvenile in the N. Sandusky Ave. area.

12:02 a.m. — Officers investigated a report of a disorderly person on Washington Square was investigated.

12:28 a.m. — A report of an intoxicated male in front of Bakers Pizza was a subject with a medical issue and he was assisted by EMS.

2:22 a.m. — Officers investigated a hit-skip collision of a parked car in the 300 block of E. Mansfield St.

3:07 a.m. — Officers assisted a Woodlawn Ave. resident with a bat in their home.

9:06 a.m. — Officers picked up marijuana cigarettes abandoned in the 200 block of E Mansfield St. south alley.

9:42 a.m. — Drug paraphernalia was gathered and a man was issued a minor misdemeanor citation as officers assisted Life Support Team in the 100 block of Heritage Circle.

9:57 a.m. — A report of a residence broken into in the 400 block of Norton Way was investigated.

12:26 p.m. — Officers investigated a report of theft of money from the 200 block of E. Lucas St.

1:12 p.m. — Officers assisted with removal of a bat in a house in the 900 block of Woodlawn Ave.

1:29 p.m. — A false alarm was received in the 500 block of W. Warren St.

1:56 p.m. — Officers assisted a man experiencing mental issues.

2:31 p.m. — A resident in the 500 block of E Charles reported a rear view mirror stolen from her vehicle.

2:53 p.m. — Officers spoke to a resident in the 200 block of Dudley Street about a sign in the neighbor’s window that she found offensive.

3:42 p.m. — An employee at Circle K reported her cell phone stolen while she was at work today.

6:10 p.m. — A 53-year-old man was arrested on a Crawford County warrant.

7:15 p.m. — Officers took a report of a dog bite in the 600 block of E. Warren Street.

8:36 p.m. — Two residents in the 300 block of Iron Street reported being assaulted after by a subject entered their home without permission and hit them with a club. Charges are pending

9:54 p.m. — A resident in the 100 block of W. Galen Street reported his black Trek bicycle stolen sometime this evening.

10:21 p.m. — Two Bucyrus residents came to the Police Department to report being assaulted by someone they know.

Monday

12:49 a.m. — Officers investigated a disturbance in the 200 block of Schaber Ave. and it was a civil issue.

1:24 a.m. — Officers assisted a resident on Martin Ave. with a bat in her home.
